Do you get chargebacks? We do despite much careful checking. Not often but those we get cost us dearly.
 
We need to do all we can to deter fraudsters many of whom are chancers; some are just the regular card owner who later claims not to have been the buyer and that his/her card had been misused.
 
I see that ZEN cart offers this on the page:

I believe that it would be helpful to have something like this on the checkout page:
 
We have recorded the address of your PC against the order which is 000.000.00.00.
We only record this so that those few people who use cards fraudulently can be traced later and reported for their crime.

2Checkout does out Fraud detection and they are pretty good with those.
 
We hardly get any Chargebacks.
 
It also depends on what type of products/items you are selling online.
 
If your items cater youngster, 14 to 23 years old, then you might be a target for chargebacks.
 
If you items cater for much older people, then the chargebacks are not that common.

It certainly helps to verify if the person who placed an order is actually situated in billing country or somewhere else.
 
Viart should definitely add this to the Order Details page and also in the Order Email confirmation.

I sell to a wide age group. PayPal claims to have good fraud protection but card companies and banks seem more inclined to accept what the customer claims. So far, despite being able to provide complete tracking data with a signature, we have never been successful in disputing a claim.
 
True, they are not many, but as a supermarket style business we work on slim margins and any charge back hits our profits.
 
I don't presume that it would take much for Viart to add something like the osCommerce offering above?

Ofcourse, the young ones are the ones dont earn money and they tend to steal things off.
