I'm in the process of setting up an online music store, but having issues when trying to make previews available using the built-in media player.
 
The XSPF media player is not loaded correctly on the Product Details page (or any page for that matter). When the area that the media player should be situated, is right-clicked, it shows an error stating "Movie Not Loaded" in the Flash menu.
 
I have tried different paths in the Downloadable Products area in Edit Product for the preview files, both absolute and relative.
 
I am thinking this may not be a path issue, as it looks like the player is not loading at all. I can however load the XSPF Player directly, by accessing the path:
 
<website name>/swf/XSPF_Player_Slim.swf
 
The player then displays on a page on its own.
 
Quite a frustrating bug, as my entire reason for buying Viart in the first place, was to sell previewable music. I've even looked into an alternative embedded media player, but dont see why I should need to go this far, when this should work in Viart.
 
I'd be interested in anyone else who may have had this problem in the past, and possible work arounds to overcome this problem.

putting the player in an external page
and making a custom block with the 'get file from': (in your case <website name>/swf/XSPF_Player_Slim.html
does not work?

I can load the player in an external page, just not when it is embedded in the Product Details page. There is something about either my setup or with the Viart shop itself, that loads the player differently.
