I'm using authorize.net to process orders, everything seems to be set-up correctly. We had our first real order come in, it was "validated" which I assume means that it was checked by authorize.net. But when does this transaction actually get process with authorize and the charge made?
 
I'm pretty confused here. Does it have to do with the order status'?

That would be a question for the payment gateway company.

no, how does viart send the information over to them... what codes are sent with what status code...

Not sure I understand this - all I can say is that when I get an order marked PAID - if I go to PayPal I see the credit to my account . . . so they must have passed the payment request to the card holder and received confirmation from them?
