When I import I get errors.
 
50 records added.
0 records updated.
0 records ignored.
70 errors occurred.
 
But it doesn't tell me what the errors are or anything, is there a log somewhere that does?
 
And when i try to update products i get error on every product. The manual is very clear on this.

The manual is not very clear*

It was licensing issue. I was using a temporary domain to access my store while my real domain the license is under is pointed elsewhere. I set my store to the real domain and made a hosts file record so i can access my store using my real domain from my computer.
