Is there a way to give access to products/categories after certain criteria is met?
 
Example: We sell credit packs and only after a user has bought €500 of credit he has access to the €500 and €1000 credit packs.
 
Reason: This way we can minimize risk of fraud.
 
Any ideas?

Not sure If I understand exactly. But anyway could you not set up an extra user type and upgrade a clients status after purchasing the "entry" credit pack. This could be done manually and you could set up alert to email you once each £500 credit pack was purchased so you could ammend there user type. The £1000 credit pack could be set up to only display for the upgraded users.
 
We are going to be doing something similar in that we are going charge a recurring fee for premimum cleint e.g £5 per month, Once they pay we will be manually upgrading them to a new user type who get a discount e.g 10% off everything

Yes, that is the type of workflow I'm looking for. But it only seems to be manually possible then.
