This va page tracking table is getting big with over 100000 records already. in fact its the 10th biggest consumer of space on my server.
 
It would be great if via admin we could delete records from this table without having to code a mysql query.
 
E.g The ability to either set a time period of how long the records should be stored deleting all older data. Or a setting to flush the tables of data based on a chosen date each time a button is clicked in admin.
 
I have google analytics as well so can monitor most behavoit in that way .
 
However as we went live recently I must admit I actually sit and watch the tracking tables and get excited watching clients approach the checkout so wouldn't want to turn this off.
 
Maybe I need treatment

freezer, I have had to remove Viart tracking.
 
I was having server problems; eventually my host tracked it down to the logs which we excessively above allocated space - and I have a lot of server space.
 
I have thousands of visits a day and five domains - this is a serious matter for me. I now have no stats for visitors.

Chris I can recommend www.statcounter.com which allows 500 free entries and then rolls on wiping the first one etc.
If you need more records you can buy extra space.
 
Theres a "View live demo" link on their site.
Create an account and copy and paste the code into "footer.html". Simple.
