- Visitor tracking
In general, tracking is monitoring a process or the results of an action. ViArt Shop 2.8 helps you obtain more detailed statistics by offering the following two tracking labels: Site visits and Page Views. Knowing the data will allow you to have a closer look on your online shop's performance and might provide with some answers on what is right and what is not.

- Merchant module
In addition to your own products your store can host products of your customers. In such a case you will be a merchant and will get your commissions for every order placed. ViArt Shop 2.8. allows you to define which product settings such a customer will be able to specify when he or she adds a product to your site.
Where to look up: Administration > Customers > Profile Settings /Types > Product Settings
- Affiliate module
You can boost your sales by having a number of affiliates - people who will sell your products and get commissions for this. You can turn a customer of yours into an affiliate by assigning him/her a special affiliate code which is an URL he or she has to lead potential clients to. In case an order is placed, the system will recognize such clients as affiliate's ones and calculate commissions.
Where to look up: Administration > Customers > Customer Accounts > View/Edit info of a certain customer > Affiliate Code
- Friendly URLs
Friendly URL could be a good substitute for links like product_details.php?category_id=16&item_id=43 if you want to be able to navigate through your site via address bar. You can replace category and items id's just with a single word or let the system do this automatically (it will use the product title). However, note that in order to turn the feature on, you have to create a '.htaccess' file in your root and add the following line into it: ErrorDocument 404 /friendly_url.php; after that, please restart your apache.

- Manuals
Ability to create manuals could be an extremely useful feature for those who sell products which need some explanations on how to use them. With ViArt Shop 2.8, you can write unlimited number of manuals (in case you have more than one such product), conduct search within a specified manual or within all of them and go to a selected article. Note that the manual functionality is available with ViArt Shop Enterprise only.

- Custom menu
Good navigation is an important part of site's usability and user-friendliness which in turn make your store better. With ViArt Shop 2.8 you have an ability to create custom menus and place them as blocks to any page of your site. Moreover, such menus can lead your customers to anywhere, even to a search page.

And a couple of more features:
- You can fix minimum and maximum goods cost when setting up a processing fee (Administration > Sales Orders > Payment Systems > Edit System > Fee Settings
- You can specify allowed and forbidden credit card numbers for every single payment system (Administration > Sales Orders > Payment Systems > Payment Details Page > Credit Card Settings)
- Expected delivery dale is calculated based on a certain shipping method (Administration > Shipping Settings > Shipping Methods > Edit Shipping Type > Estimated Time for Shipping) and processing time of a payment system (Administration > Sales Orders > Payment Systems > Edit System > Processing Time).
- You can edit layouts of three more pages: Product Search page, New Ticket page (ViArt HelpDesk) and Manual pages (only for ViArt Shop Enterprise) (Administration > ViArt CMS).
