My company is a high volume shipper and typically uses UPS WorldShip to calculate dimensional weight of packages. We need the cart to recognize when we are sending more than one package for a particular order. This is a very necessary feature for high volume shippers or for those who ship large/heavy items.
We have determined QtyPerBox numbers for each of our products but we need the cart to translate that to UPS. As of right now when I test purchasing a large number of items, I get a UPS error message stating that the maximum weight for a package is 150lbs. How can I get the cart to limit each package to say, 38lbs and break up an order accordingly?
We have purchased the Enterprise edition but are thinking seriously of abandoning ViArt for a cart that supports more flexible shipping options and integrates better with UPS.
Any help would be appreciated!

Finally, I found someone with a similar problem as mine. This is a huge issue with companies which have several boxes of the same item or several boxes of different items. It is critical for shipping costs to be determined more accurately.
I too get the same error.
What we require is more intelligence within the software to provide the courier companies especially UPS. I have written this to Viart support a few months ago, I believe the new vers is supposed to resolve some of these issues.

Hi Dani:
Apparently the new vers 3.5 and later have a more detailed shipping module.
Which vers are you on?

Riyaz - I'm looking at the new beta version notes now and you're right, it looks like there's better options for shipping.
I'm a bit hesitant to fully upgrade because it's only a beta version but I would love if I could just use the files that pertain to shipping for right now until the next full release...

Hi Dani:
I also have Ibn Saeed interested in improving the shipping module. Kindly visit the customization section of the forum to read our comments.
I would love a few more of us to get involved and get a custom module made for us.
I upgraded to 3.5.35 for the Canadian Tax issue and shipping, but the shipping does not do me much good. My products are heavy and require more then a single box.
