Thanks for that. It would also be helpful if there was a list of the major changes in the software. I can't see anything here, although maybe I have missed it.... Anyone?

3.3.15 is a refinement of 3.3.14 version to learn more
see forum remarks by Anjula link shown below:
Did anyone ever get an answer to the different domain question in the above linked post. The multi site feature would be a great help. What a great idea.
I am currently suffering a problem with Paypal because I am running two sites to one Paypal account... it doesn't like the return pages. This seems like it may be the answer (along with the other advantages of only having to deal with the one back end.)
Any ideas about the different domain question?

Hello Kim
I have looked at Anjula's comments again and looked through Tony's set up.
It appears to me that you have can the site on different domains - two for sure but, I think, more than two if required. I am hoping that we can also have different themes on the different domains.
There is plenty of facility in the release to allow variations between different domains - such as whether a product is on just one of the domains - or on all.
As for PayPal I run two sites but as they are not both Viart I have no problem - I expect that this will cure the problem you have as there appears to be one administration set up managing both.
Hopefully Anjula will confirm these points - and also the expected final version release date?

christopherO it appears that you will be able to have a different theme for each site and all the features. If you look in Global setting top right corner you'll see drop-down menu "Select current site".
In the DEMO we have not taken the step outlined by Anjula for multi sites. Read his comments to better understand what is required.
Having read that I presume that all multiple sites have to be version 3.3.15 or higher?

Hi Ned
Answer to your question. ViArt version 3.3.15 is a multi site solution in it self.
1. Different themes for each shop.
2. Different products or same product can be assigned to the shops.
3. In fact from what I can tell so far, you are able to make several sites using just ViArt multi version.

Has anybody else been trialing the new order import facility? Is it going smoothly for you?

Hello Tony. I wanted to see what the new back-end looks like, but the userid/password didn't appear to work. It didn't give an error stating that the userid was incorrect, it just came back to the same logon screen.

Reason that you're not able to log in, is that your cookies aren't enabled. Please enable cookies for that site and you'll be able to access everything seemlessly.
Hope that helps.

Msquared,
Did you do an upgrade from 3.3.2? We had a broken shop main page and Viart fixed the templates for us. It seems some changes in CSS/templates required. Don't have more information, suggest you open a ticket and get Viart to look at it.

Greetings,
Hi msquared and everyone else
First of all msquared you did NOT break the cart. I have ran a few test and encounter the problem also.
Not sure if we miss something or not but a help ticket has been submitted.
Should have an answer soon.

Is it possible to also view user bonus points on user pages rather than at checkout?

Hi yourshopping
In answer to you question, I recall reading somewhere that the bonus points are shown on user account or was to be in the update version. I'm not 100 percent positive.
On another subject this pass weekend a few of you experience so problems "DETAIL PAGE FAIL TO SHOW". The problem has been resolved. Go ahead and kick ViArt tires now during your test drive!
If I type in a new customer, under invoice details, and click on the
checkbox for same details as delivery, on mine, the data is not copied to
the delivery fields.

Hi yourshopping
You have actually 4 methods for the call center
Select User - select from user database
Last Customer - select from last customer
Last Registered Customer - select from register customer
Fill In - admin input the information
Therefore if you fill-in "Invoice details" then you also need to fill-in "delivery fields" since the information is not yet stored in the database.

Hi Tony,
Thanks for the reply,
What i'm doing is as if customer does not exist in database, so admin fill in details under invoice address.
Once done this, I select the checkbox for the same for the delivery address, but the system does not fill this in and java error message appears.

Hi yourshopping
We have NOT set-up "Advanced Parameters" to use the call center. For this reason this feature may not be fully functional.
--------------------
To verify whether the selected Payment System is advanced, go to the Edit System Payment page and check your “Is Advanced” checkbox.
Set the required parameters for the selected payment system in the Advanced Parameters section and save the changes.
When this is done, you can create your orders. For this go to Administration > Orders > Create Order and fill in all the required files.

no, this doesn't require the payment to actually hit the payment method yet, it's just simply a copy over feature that shows "error on page" in the status area.
It's a bug..

Hi Dan,
Honestly, I can't say its a bug. I also try but realize someone else was playing with the demo at the same time which cause the call center page to disappear.
I know that, yourshopping is doing some testing at this time. If you encounter something strange, it would be best to send e-mail to ViArt support or wait a bit. Version 3.3.15 has not been official release, so I imagine they are doing more test.
By-the-way the previous problem "product details is not working" was in fact my failure to setup the friendly URL correctly. No bug in the software.

okay, here's a question though, say someone is in fact on the same page, if you have multiple support staff employees in there as admins, are you saying that they all shouldn't be able to create call center orders at the same time? that'd be crazy.
