I am currently using the 'Quantity Prices' function, but here's my dilemma:
I can sell some products in different quantities - i.e. packs of 100, 250, 500, 1000, etc.
Maybe I should just set these as different options? hmmm maybe that's what I'll do...
All thoughts appreciated...

Exactly my dilemma. I use Options and have my own qty as the option values.
I do not use the default Qty prompt the system has.

But what if you have other items that also need to use the default qty prompt? Is it possible to have that active on some products and disabled on others?
I hate to confuse ppl who are trying to give me money...

Hi, I am just in the throws of doing similar to what you have mentioned. Viart suggested the Product Coupon which suits me, Just haveing a small issue with it at the moment but they are working on it for me.
Go to "Products/Coupons" and create a new coupon.
I have set mine up so that If customer wants to buy 10 of a single item they get a 10% discount. You can use this Coupon for all products or there is an option to select "Selected" products only. Have a play and see if this suits your needs.
Hope this is helpful and I havnt sent you on a wild goose chase.
