Anyone know where the site greetings section has moved to?

Same question I have, but I think With new CMS you able to chose any Custom block to inset to the header,so that’s why you don’t need the greetings anymore.

Yes, however the .css stylesheets still have that line item in there... did they just not remove it from their templates?

Yes the "greetings" were removed from Global settings as well as Meta data fields due to their uselessness. Now you can put any custom block into the header frame and the Meta data for home page as well as any other pages can be specified in CMS > CMS > CMS Pages > Layout. The code you found in CSS files is redument and will, of course, be removed soon.
