A big Texas Howdy to y'all...
I'm a newbie (soooo new that Viart is still installing my shop right now). Itchin' to get started!!! Anyways, I love to confuse myself and after reading over the shipping configuration section of the shop manual I have managed to completely and thoroughly confuse myself.
OK... here goes. These are USPS shipping questions. Please be gentle.... "Shipping for Dummies" is what I'm hoping for...
1. Is it possible to distinguish between Media Mail and Parcel Post for Domestic Mail? I will be selling some products that qualify for Media Mail, and some that must be sent Parcel Post. Both are First Class until they're past the First Class weight limits. International shipping is easier... just First Class up to 4 pounds and then Priority. Sooo, how to configure all of that?
2. If I can't configure #1, can I set it up to just charge $x.xx for the first item and then $0.xx for each additional item? How to do?? But then what about International? Could I have say 3 shipping rate charts? One for Domestic (USA), one for Canada/UK... and then one for the rest of the world????
3. If y'all have any other suggestions or an easier way to go... pleeeeeeeze share! I am plum bumfuzzled!
