Hi I have been following the limited documentation and taking the "pray and play" approach to make modifications to the site so I can get it up and running. Here are a few roadblocks I have keeping me from going live:
1. I want customers to have immediate access to the downloadable file they purchase - so when Paypal redirects them successfully after payment, I want a page that has their link right there!
2. In the product detail I would like to display the manufacturer name and the category/sub category the item belongs to.
3. Since my members products are always digital downloads, I want to have the "downloadable" field hidden, but automatically checked (as well as a couple of other fields like how many times to download, etc - same for all products)
4. When trying the system out - I noticed that uploading a file with spaces in the name was fine, but downloading after purchase it was not fine (file was unrecognizable). So either I need to fix that or have the php file check that NO spaces are in the filename.
5. I want to disable all "ship to" or delivery details - since these products are all downloadable.
6. Paypal works fine, unless the user clicks cancel and return to site. Then they get the following: "An error: "Can't obtain transaction token parameter." occurred while processing your order. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused. "
7. Need a search bar on the forums page that searches text in the forums only and displays list of results
8. When users use the search on the homepage - if there are no results I would like a custom message to appear at the top that says "no results found".
I appreciate any feedback you all have - if these are quick fixes I may try to do them myself, otherwise I would need a recommendation for someone who can do this work quick.
