I have downloaded the ViArt Shop 2.5 (Light Edition)Free Evaluation.
 
How do I remove the rewiew and rating stuff on the product pages?

Hi,
You can switch Reviews in administration pages:
Administration > Global Settings > Reviews Settings
 
Rating settings for each product You can find in Product page.
