I would like to know when viart will allow some sort of social integration, with the social networks such as Twitter, Facebook, Myspace etc.
Would eb good to have the following features,
Like a page / product
Link to a twitter page so others can tweet about you
Post products to a facebook store
Link your viart store to a facebook store in fact
Add to friends in myspace
Add new tweet to store which can post to twitter automatically? tweet can show in a custom block or custom page ie blog etc.
It is vital we move into the social networking era, this is a MAJOR advertising boost for each and everyone's store so it should not be ignored.
Look forward to seeing viart implement at the very minimum, the basics
thanks

I added a custom block which has my facebook page link, Skype, etc. It would be good to have these built in features, but Viart is foremost an ecommerce, I'd prefer seeing them focus on that.

I would rather focus on my ecommerce than anyone else! The cart automatically does what it does - sell - so what should be focused on is more than that. Anyone can sit and gaze at their navel all day and congratulate themselves on how well they think they have done. its a no brainer.
Fixing bugs should always be a primary focus, but any ecommerce cart provider should always focus on that, its a given. It's the providers that go out of their way to add value to their cart on top of the basics that will succeed.
Cart providers who add functions add sales to sellers. Would you throw extra sales away because you want them to keep on the basics, ecommerce, which is already done and doesn't need any more doing, after all the cart works, right? And doing what exactly, focusing on what, when you are the one selling?? The ecommerce bit is YOUR job. Creating, writing and coding software is their job, not ecommerce.
Sellers should focus on keeping up with the times, after all, we are on the internet, which by its very nature, evolves and is People oriented. We as ecommerce sellers should be on top of our game, not crippled by out of date software. If you aren't up to date with even the very basics of social networking, you are losing money from a huge sector,, every day.
