Can you please allow points to be added based on actions, ie sign up for newsletter, get 500 points.
Tell a friend, get x points.
Like us on facebook, get x points
friend purchases based on your referral, they get x points, you also get x points
competitions - winner can get x points
get x points for giving a POSITIVE rating on an item
so forth.

This seems more like a customization than an overall feature. I know that I wouldn't find much use in it. Plus, if I want to add points to a customers account for something, I can do so.

Hi again Todco, Obviously you and I have different expectations of running an ecommerce store.
May I ask what industry you are in? Obviously not the same as mine, i take it.
So why bag a request for adaptation to a current existing function? What if other people want this too? What if others want this automated? Do you actually run a business, that you are ok to do everything manually? if so, the question begs to be asked, why do you do everything manually, is it a lack of sales that allows you the luxury of time?

Where do you see that I am angry?? i am simply asking questions that you have not even answered. perhaps you are reading into things.
 
What is the point of your writing in my post when you obviously don't agree? I am making a request i would like to see integrated, as someone who runs a business, and currently uses this facility, quite frequently - haven't you heard of the GFC? So far all you have done is try to tell me you don't think the requests should be implemented. Again, what is the point of writing it? If you don't agree, why bombard my requests with drivel? What are you trying to get out of this? a reaction??

It's a forum which is open to discussion. That's the point of a forum. Otherwise you can submit a ticket through the helpdesk with a topic of feature request.
 
I do run a great business, but I do indeed have time as it's not a one man shop and it's a weekend.
