The custom blocks I add, using a content from another file still have white bg and border. I am using silver dark template. How can I remove this border, or atleast change the background to fit in?

To remove the white border of your custom block you are to open your silver dark css file and add the following string there:
 
.bl_simple td.padding10px {padding: 0px !important;}

That sorted it but there is a border on the top and bottom, cant work out if it is an image or css border?
 
Any ideas on how to remove?
