It it possible to have a dynamic start date for a recurring payment?
 
I am the CTO for a publishing company that is getting ready to sell subscriptions to an online fiction archive. Basically a user signs up either for a monthly or yearly subscription and I need it to recur starting 1 month/year after the initial payment and so on and so fourth.

Yes, it's possible.
 
There are Start date and End date fields when setting up the recurring payment.

Just left the start and end date blank. I'm using a custom activation script that allows the customers to cancel their recurring orders.

Are you doing recurring on memberships (aka user types) or recurring products?
