I am experimenting with the product registration feature but find it is not as integrated as I would like.
Basically it allows a registered and logged in user to pull up a list of products (not from the product catalogue but from a seperate list you need to create) to register with a serial number.
Another optional field is Invoice #.
What seems logical to me is to have users pull up one of their tax invoices, and pluck from the invoice the purchased product, enter the serial number - and submit.
So my question is: can anyone see a way of using the Custom Fields in product registration to pull up the users invoices and/or purchased product? Then just enter the serial number and submit?
Or, any other suggestions regarding product registration would be great.
