This may not be required by most but I am sure the majority of businesses use PLU's or Product Codes to identify their products for speed and security.
 
I am moving to Viart Cart and the lack of ability to display or even record my product codes is causing me great concern.
 
So, could we have a single field for product code, or PLU etc.

Please note, that it is available field Code next to Manufacturer select box which you can use to store your product code.
 
Also there are available options to display it:
- on products list page
- on product details page
- on basket page
- on orders/checkout pages

Thank you for the reply, I know this and unfortunately I am already using or require this field for the manufactures product code and description, I require the facility to store our product code as taken from or created automatically by our EPOS system.
I have gone through everything and I am unable to find a solution at this time unless I use the manufactures code, which will in turn create a different problem.

Just to explain further to my previous messages:-
We are selling computer components, we are asked and are required to quote manufacture, product code & model no.
Therefore, no is no where for us to store our internal PLU or product code which runs our EPOS system.
 
This is just to clarify my dilemma.
