Hi, Here is my website currently under construction. as you can see I have a category list on the left. I will use an example
"classical" I need to have subcategories underneath like Beethoven etc. I have created a subcategory beethoven with classical been its parent.
in CMS "home page layout" for the category block I have selected "specify blocks settings" and changed it to "tree-type category structure", but every time I select the classical category on my home page it just takes me to the products page and does not work like a drop down list to show the other subcategories. Any ideas what I am doing wrong. I have spoke to the kind people at Viart and they state its possible to do.
Been trying to figure this out for days.
Cheers

Hi,
Do you mean when you click on Classical a drop down list opens on the home page?. When I click on classical it goes to the products page and does not stay on the home page
Cheers

No, with the product list, it will go to the category that you click on (ie. Classical), and expand those categories under it, while you're on the products page.
What you're looking to do, isn't currently an option within the cart that I know of.

Hi,
If its not an option then this must be why it does not work.
Even when I click the classical on the products page it does not close the subcategory down.
Thanks for you help

No, they are not open/close elements. I do indeed think this is a good idea to have as an option, it's just not there yet. Maybe in an upcoming release?
