Hello ViArt,
Here is exactly what I need. I don't think I explained it well enough last time. Please visit these links for both the product details page and the basket page.
http://www.ecoproducts.com/manhattan_unfurled.htm (price has been manually entered but it would populate based on the UOM selection. Also once Qty has been entered, extended price would calculate and update Total.
http://www.ecoproducts.com/shopping_cart.htm Notice how each UOM has its own line item detail. Very important.
Again the question involved the ability for the customer to individually select qty per option and have info display as line items in the basket and cart.
I am imagining this will be a customization. If so, please quote so I can get this going ASAP. If it is a custom, how long will it take?
Because I am 8 hours behind you, please provide as much detail as possible concerning all of this.
Thanks, you folks are awesome!
Scott
In case you want to have different quantity for selected items we would recommend you to use subcomponents functionality (http://www.viart.com/shopping_cart_system_options.html) as in this case customers will have the possibility to select how many items of some product will be purchased and it would be possible to set 2 quantity for Sleeves sub product, for example, and in the order they will be shown like.
Main Product
1 x Case
2 x Sleeves
Let us know if it is ok for you.

Okay let me sum up the below:
I like the options module of the Viart system.
Along with the options module, I need the follow...an Viart do this:
1. instead of having only one qty box on a products detail page with options page, is it possible to have each option have its own qty box? This is important because each option can be ordered separate as each option is a different UOM of the main product.
2. in the basket/cart, if a person orders a case and a sleeve of a product, it is important that each option of the product gets its own line item. Currently, if a person orders a case and a sleeve of a product, the cart will only show one line for the product, adding the qty and price together.
Can Viart handle the two above request as is or are these custom fixes?
Thanks,
Scott

I set up a product with different options that when selected activate different pricing.

Perfect. Now what would be best is if there is a way to have each option have its own Qty selection. As it is, the customer will have to add up the qty of each UOM they want (1 case + 2 Sleeves = 3 total QTY). While the cart shows the correct math (qty * price) there is only one line item which is very confusing to the customer. Instead, it would be best if each UOM chosen on the detail page is show as an ind. Line item on the cart page. Is this possible?
Hello Scott,
Here are the possible variant:
You can create a product calling it Plastic Cup, for example.Put "0" price for it if you want(in this case if you create options later the price of the option will be added to the basic price that is "0", so you will have only the price of the option.
Then create three different options for this product calling them "case", "sleeve", "each"( Admin> Products> Products&Categories> "Plastic Cup" product> "Options&Components" link below the product>"Option" link). When you create an option, put 1-5 in the "Value" field and your price for this quantity in the "Prices" field , then put 6-10 in another"Value" field and put the price for this quantity and so on. The only problem that in this case the price for the chosen amount will not be counted correctly if the user chooses the option 6-11 for example and selects only 2 products.
So, the best solution in this case is to create all your options as different products.
For example, you will have a product "Plastic Cup case" in this case you will be able to create price matrix to show discounts by using "Prices" link.
Let us know if it suits you.

I sale a plastic cup. It is sold as a case, as a sleeve or as an
each. Is there a way in Viart to set up for a single product ID in
three different unit of measure (cs, sl, ea)? The option should be
available on the product details page and different prices should also so. For instance:
If you selection EP-1000 as a case, there are three pricing levels
available (1-5, 6-10, 11-15) If you selection EP-1000 as a sleeve,
there are three pricing levels available (1-5, 6-10, 11-15) If you
selection EP-1000 as a each, there are three pricing levels available
(1-5, 6-10, 11-15) I imagine there will be two types of drop downs,
one for the unit of measure and one for the qty to order.
It would be desirable to have a dynamic pricing table matrix show the
pricing of each UOM and QTY range. Similar to the pricing matrix that
can be activated for a single product, can it handle a product that has 3 UOM's?
Thanks,
