Has anyone implemented a multisite configuration with different price lists per store.
What I am trying to achieve is a second site for a Country 2, this country needs to have its own discrete set of prices per product, not just the Country 1/Site 1 prices with a currency conversion.
As far as I can see, Viart cannot do this, although I am investigating using Trade prices for Country 2/Site 2 and renaming "Trade" to "Price" and changing the settings on Site 2 to use Trade pricing - therefore providing Country 2 specific pricing.
But before I do this, does anyone have another solution?
Thanks.

Hello Five5 - it seems to me that yours is the only workable solution.

Hello Five5,
I've the same problem and I use a different solution. It is not perfect but you can have more than 2 stores.
For each product, you can setup a Price (List price) which can be used for the customer type 1 or you store 1.
Then, you can use the Quantity prices tab, to setup the prices for your other stores. The only thing you have to do, is to choose the right customer type or the right site depending on the solution for use : one price per site or one price per customer type (if you have multiple store with the same price).
Nevertheless, you will have some problems:
1. The discount price will not work properly because it only applies on the List price and not on the prices in the Quantity prices tab.

HI just read this string...i have 3 stores under one shopping mall with viart. Works aok. The index page is where folks select the correct store..please see www.welcomerecordings.com . It all worked out and have been using it since 2008 . I would like to have a plugin that you can get with for example Magento that idetifies where the visitor lives and can then direct to the correct store...all the best Paul

saultopaul:
You can set this up as a redirect in your .htaccess file.
I would also provide somewhere in the header/footer that says something like 'in the wrong place? select your correct country' or something of the like.
