I am interested in purchasing an ecommerce solution that allows for multiple merchants like what is described here in your features list. I read through the manual also, but I need some additional information on how this will work.
 
We have an artists site with many artists wanting to sell their own artwork. Does the commission part of this actually get paid automatically with each sale to the merchant? or does the site owner have to run a report periodically and manually pay out the commissions to each vendor?
 
I just can't sem to get a real understanding of how the merchants module works with paypal since paypal doesn't support multiple payments based on commission from what I understand.

With ViArt Shop's Merchant Module your customers can upload their products on your site and you will get your commissions for every order placed. All the payments obtained from the selling of the artists’ work will be transferred to your account and you will have to manually send the appropriate amount of money to each vendor on agreed time.
 
As for the PayPal payments, the amount of money should be transferred in a normal way to the vendor’s Pay Pal account. For this you will have to know your vendor’s Pay Pal account number.

Could I please ask a supplementary to this?
 
When we receive an order it could be a mix of our products and those of a merchant . . . or, perhaps, a mix of products from different merchants.
 
How does the order get sent to the appropriate merchant.
Or does the product get set up to transact as a unique order and delivery for each merchant?
