They are selling a knockoff of Viart's product for $38.00 US that you can have activated on 10 different domains. I recognized it from the admin section. I was wondering if they are legit. I know that the same on the Viart site would in excess of 900.00 how can they do that?

Firstly I can't see the reference to Viart at all.
Second, if they bought multiple licenses (100) then I think they would make money if it were the light version. ie $2100/100 = $21 each.

It's a copy of Viart with some branding changes. The System Update option is gne so I can't see the version.
Definitely it is also not the light version as all modules are active and there is no (c) notice at the bottom at all.
Seems a hacked version. Viart, care to comment?

PS: I'm staying with the original because it has good support.

Hello to everybody,
Thanks for your questions regarding pozscripts.com
We can state that this company has stolen our product and sells it as their own illegally.
We would strongly recommend you not to purchase the licenses from this company as some of ViArt functionalities are protected and will be unaccessible within some period of time if the copy is not legal.
If you want a new and improved ViArt software, do not invest your money in illegal copies of our shopping cart. Also, please note that those who purchase illegal copies of our software won't receive our support and any possible discount associated with multiple licenses, custom work, etc.
With kind regards,
ViArt Team

Thanks for the response. What you said about them stealing your product and selling it as their own, is exactly what I was thinking. I won't be buying from them. Cheers Mike

I've already sent a fraud complaint to privacyprotect.com. Not sure that has any effect though.

first of all the web url should be cencored.
did you take any legal actions? IFCC should be able to solve this problem since they are receiving money somehow and they should be indentified easily..

Looks like the people over at Pozscripts.com are aware of being caught. They pulled my post in the forum, where I asked what version of Viart their cart was basd upon. I left them another. Shame shame shame.

Not to seem ungreatful but after spilling the beans on pozscripts.com Viart only offered me 20% off on future purchases, rather than a full complimentary copy. What do you guys think? Should Viart be more generous?
Quote "Hello xxxxx,
Thank you very much for informing us and our clients about illegal usage of ViArt product.
We can offer you 20% discount for your further purchase of our product. Let us know in case you are interested and we will issue a discount for you."

Not at all, I think Viart should increase their prices compared to the products featureset and the level of support.
I know I should not be saying that, but many other solutions are much much more expensive. If you're out for a cheapo cart with a lot of hassle, bugs and no support you should not consider Viart .

Considering that ViArt was losing out on aprox. $261.00 minimum for each sale of the PozScript GreenCart and the fact that I could have said nothing about it. I simply felt that Viart could have been more generous with their reward. As far looking for some cheapo cart software to use, I am not. That is exactly how I happened across the pirated software...through research, on a supposed legit site. I wasn't the price that caught my attention initially, it was the fact that the listing/software appeared to have been recently updated. I do not intend to purchase PozScripts version. A buggy unsupported piece of software is the last thing I need right now. Not to mention not wanting to support software pirates. I think that the feature set in ViArt is unbeatable for the price. Long Live ViArt!!!

20% is fine. You shouldn't expect something for that. You should tell them just for the sake of being ethical.

I went by pozscripts today to see if the site was still up. I was very amused to see that someone had put a reference to ViArt.com on the admin login screen. HA HA Way to go Viart!!! It's very funny.
