by they way mikstang, i think it's a stupid move to put their link here. You are giving them free publicity! Those who are keen on cheap stuffs will definitely buy from them!! Instead those who initially wanna buy from viart will turn to them. You are making things worse.
This is just my point of view. I just want to feedback to viart team that this might pull down your sales. I am not asking for any discounts or free softwares like some loser..

Paul, it's obvious from your incorrect conclusions and poor choice of words that you are the loser.

Okay, lets not get out of hand here calling people losers or idiots. Lets be responsible users in the ViArt forums and all get along. We obviously all like the software here and that's what we're all here doing.. helping each other out.
 
I think they should limit these forums to users of the software... only the purchasers, so that outside people cannot gain help from the Viart staff and users.
 
I would feel better knowing that any support I provide will not be supporting hackers.

I totally agree with Dan. The forum should be restricted to users of Genuine ViArt Product only. We should have a password system.

Actually the same concept of forum restriction is found at cs-cart and jshop forums as well.
 
But I think it does frustrate new clients who just want to get some answers.
 
 
I suggest that if indeed there should be some sort of restriction, there should be atleast one Forum thread where new users can post without registering whereas the rest of the forum should be password protected/locked etc.

The present forum needs major update feature wise and we need some Moderators.

I am against being protectionist.
So newbies read our threads — great, given the loyalty they find in most of us
 
Viart has nothing to lose, as those who whine will probably not become Viart users in any case.
I am sure that Viart can protect themselves and deal with competitive issues, don't you?

@Ibn: I agree partially as I wish Viart to focus on their core competency which is ecommerce and not spend a lot of effort in copying phpbb .

i accedently came accross this site while searching the internet and after reading the post i am very happy pozscript has been found out i purchased there shopping cart script but did not know it was stolen from
Viart.com i paid through paypal who will now know that
pozscript sold me a stolen shopping cart script belonging to Viart and i congradulate the person who
started this post to inform the script owners of the thief
By the way the shopping cart has problems with the shipping rate module it does not interface with any of the online shippers soch as -UPS-USPS -DHL-or FEDEX
it also does not import Products and there are other
Problems my advise to any one who is thinking of purchasing this cheep not to mension stolen shopping cart soft is to a void from doing any business with pozscript as they have not good values and there is no support for this broken script....

JUST READ THE COMMENTS QUICKLY AND NOT ALL SO I DON`T KNOW IF ANY ONE MENTIONED THAT SAME SCRIPTS AS ARE OR WERE OFFERED ON : www.pozscript.com ARE ON SALE ON : www.onlinescript.net .

For www.scriptsearch.com, www.download.com and www.hotscripts.com I submitted a ticket for review, and compare it with Viart, so I hope it will be deleted...

Hotscripts is hot, so removed the Koocart in just about 10hrs...
