I'm setting up the user registrations on our site and have a problem.
 
Once a new user has just completed the profile information (on user_profile.php) and clicks the "register" button they are immediately taken to a page that says "please update your profile" with 2 fields required:
 
The first is the date of birth field that I have set to "is required", and the second is the validation code.
 
So even though both of these fields were completed on registration (and the registration page did not error on submission) it is auto-forwarding to the "edit profile" page with errors.
 
Has anyone any idea of how to fix this please?

An update to this, i have just updated the block_user_profile.php page with the updated version on 14th May 2014.
 
This has now fixed the date of birth field and this no longer needs to be entered again, however I am still presented with the following after completing a new registration:
 
"Please update your profile:
Validation Code is required"

Do you have any custom fields?
I get the same thing, but havent looked at it yet as I thought it was due to my custom profile fields
