Can someone please suggest me a quick hack as to how I can run PHP and Javascript in my custom blocks in version 3.1? I would have upgraded to 3.2 but its really late for me to do that now. I really need to know how to go about it.

I've got 3.2 and I don't see any way to do it either.
 
I'd really like to ad my Google Adsense codes to my new catalog and pages but they are all java and the java just disappears.

If you want you can try to copy this functionality from version 3.2 but for sure sometimes it is better to
upgrade to the latest version in order not to corrupt the logic in the script. To run PHP code you also need to enable it in the settings at Administration > System > Global Settings.

And how we do that? where are the files that need to be replace etc?
