I am buying new hosting acc and they offer to chose:
PHP 4.4 ( MySQL 4.0)
PHP 5.2 ( MySQL 5.0)
Is Viart is fully supporting second variant ie PHP 5.2 and MySql 5.0?

My experience is that there is a difference between 4 and 5. For instance, if I switch to 5, then the PDF invoices script fails on the call to pdf_new(). I know Viart believes the product works on both environments, but there is something else required. My scripts are hanging and Viart tells me it's my fault, but my configuration has not changed in two years and all of a sudden my site is down 10x a day because scripts are not exiting their process. I know it may be a PHP issue on the server, but Viart support seems disinterested in offering recommendations.

no... I switched to 5 and had many errors, but the hosting company gave me no options. I've got the same issues as ed, viart has helped me fix many of the file issues.

What is the latest on this as I am planning to upgrade to latest versions of php and mysql.
Should I be aware of any issues and will the version of zend work after and upgrade also.
