I would create a permanent redirect from mydomain.com and www.mydomain.com.
 
Is there a way to get it from the CMS?
 
 
I see now that my site is indexed as mydomain.com and probably this is due to the missing redirection.

Are you wanting traffic going to mydomain.com and www.mydomain.com to be permently redirected to another URL (like mynewdomain.com)?
 
If so, this is most easily handled in the .htaccess file (assuming you're hosted on a Unix platform).
