Looking for some ideas on the best way to associate a PDF document (like installation instructions, or warranty info) to a single product.
The closest thing I can figure is to create a new tab for documents, and add the HTML link there.
This method may work for a few products, but not the best when dealing with a large amount of documents.
Any recommendations out there?...perhaps I am not utilizing a built in feature correctly?
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

We have been playing with similar and so far we have looked at embedding the image into the description but also "Product Preview URL" on the product's "Images & Appearance" Tab
or alternatively use the PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS info to create your links.
Then if you are using the "Create Duplicate" it would be copied across (not tested this) to any new product you create based on this one.
Thinking outside the square, you could look at modifying the code for "block_products_details.php" and your associated template to take the 'Product Preview URL" as a parameter rather than an absolute and use that to somehow conditionally show what you want else-where on the page.

Thanks for the reply dmOZ..
I have been playing with the Downloadable tab found when editing a product. This tab looks to be the correct way to do this, but seems to be erratic in some function...although perhaps I just have not experimented enough with it.
The alternative idea of using the Products Highlight to imbed a html link is a pretty good idea as well, I may have to look into that scenario as well.

There is also an option for products to create a Product Preview.
We also experimented with embedding the PDF into the body of the Description - but it was a mixed result depending on your browser - especially on mobile devices (apple included) which wanted to download the file instead of viewing in-situ.
