It works for the most part and I can successfully submit an order with order detail included but Paypal can't return info back to Viart. I'm using downloads and the system isn't able to generate an email with a download link to the customer.
Here's the error I'm getting:
An error: "Can't obtain transaction token parameter." occurred while processing your order. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.
I have read the instructions and have Paypal standard mostly configured but I think the problem is with the API. The manual tells me how to create the API cert. but not what do I do with it once I have created it
I have reviewed the paypal files in the payment directory and I can't see a place where I can enter the user and password or specify the location for the cert_key.
What else might I be missing?
thanks

In case this may be of any help...
I use PayPal pro (express for PayPal + direct for credit cards paid thru PayPal pro). I renamed the cert file to cert_key_pem.txt and entered the full path including file name for it in the ViArt paypal "SSL cert" parameter. It works fine.
I thought I remembered there is no cert_key involved for regular PayPal? If you do have PayPal pro you want to use PayPal express rather than regular PayPal.
Consider calling PayPal, I've needed their help for every cart I've set up. (One cart company told me PayPal pro is the hardest to design for) Once you reach PayPal support by phone they are pretty knowledgeable.
