How do I actually add in the values? I am new into integrating paypal into a site, and I don't know whether the default values given to me would work.
Also, is there a way to test my site with a paypal ID?

You have to read the section in the manual regards setting up paypal. And testing is covered there its called a sandbox.

If it helps, I just used PayPal 'out of the box' and it works fine - worth just trying.
