I have an existing ecommerce site that uses paypal. Do you know if it is possible to use the same Paypal account to run both sites. It seems to me that the return function will return the customer to only one site, in which case I will need multiple Paypal accounts.
 
Any ideas.

In this case you can add an additional parameter ‘return’ with an appropriate URL specified for it in your PayPal parameters list.
