Description
When Birth Field is required for registration there appears an error:
"Please update your profile:
Validation Code is required"
 
Solution

Download the file above and extract 'common_functions.php' in the /includes folder of your shop replacing existing file. Please do not forget to make a backup copy of the current file in case something goes wrong.
 

This patch causes a problem, my site stops working completely - all the pages are blank!
 
However, I've had a bit of a play and have discovered that the problem that makes the site not work is within the:
function get_language
 
If I remove this block of code (from line 3121 to 3195) the site will run, and it has fixed the "please update your profile" problem.
 
I've logged this in a support request to Viart and I guess Viart will release a new updated version of this file again soon.

You are using v.4.1 while patch was created for v.4.2 that's why you have inconsistency problems. Since we support only latest version of ViArt Shop we are not going to deliver patches for previous versions.
