When you select Brazilian, Italian or some other translation you can see an empty page with an error like this:
Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/public_html/messages/pt/messages.php on line 715
This happens because some messages have forbidden symbols such as ".

Extract the language folders that have the problem above (e.g. 'br' and 'it') into 'messages' folder of your shop replacing existing files. Please do not forget to make a backup copy of the current language files in case something goes wrong.
