Is there an anchor in the product detail page or something?
Any product pages land mid way down the page rather then the preferred top of the page.
 
Example: https://www.elsographics.com/22-oz-tankard.php lands at mid point as do all other detail pages.
 
What can I do to address this?

Not sure if this was correct but I added onload="window.scrollTo(0,0);" to the body tag in the layout_XX_column.html templates. It works, if there is a better way, please let me know

As far as we can see you are using custom Javascript on your page and most likely it's the reason why your page scroll down as it's not default behavior of Viart Shop.
