Well i'm getting close on the 30 day money back gaurantee..
Purchased this because other programs failed to offer canadapost fedex and ups modules for shipping...which is what i was stuckon....So this software seamed to be a savour...priced right...and looked good on functuality....
 
Well 3 weeks into it, another redo of the entire site, and still no canadapost "parsing errors" no fedex "thier offline, and havent even attempted ups....Wall Bash
 
Find Support is slow...4-5 days for replies, and some of them sound like they are from "students" reading scripts ???

I can see alot of area for support that needs large improvement....
person to person phone access.....
Live chat...with remote access, so support can watch when you recreate an error, and not have you try to explain it.... have yet too see it in action ???? "live-chat"
A forum for database errors and thier solutions... would save new user's "and-old" days of waiting for responces and searching.
 
What are your "people who have it up and running" overall
opinion of the software ???
 
And those of you like me "who are struggling" too get it up and running ?????
 
Not yet to the point of "thowing" in the anchor on it...
But also do not want to be left with un-returnable software that fails to do what it states ???
I have 4 of them now :(

I'm not using ups or fedex so I don't have your probs.
I have found support to be efficient. They don't always give me the answers I'm searching for but I have found ways around the probs. The hard questions take longer and some don't get answered.
Live Help is great for simpler questions. For harder questions, you can supply the FTP and admin login details and support will check it out.
The only thing I am missing from Viart is a decent shipping calculator that is available for the buyer at the View Cart stage. I really don't like not knowing what shipping is until I reach checkout.
Shared SSL that clears the cart after payment would also be good but I can live without it and get a dedicated SSL.
If you are concerned about going over the 30days, can you ask for your money back and work on a free version. The free version has restrictions like only 10 categories and 50 products but that is enough for testing purposes. You could then re-purchase the licenses after you have ironed out all the issues. See if that option is available.
Or hire a php programmer to tailor the cart for your purposes

We use fedex (not ups), and we had to work with our service rep at fedex to get everything working fine. we have a brick and mortar store and a relationship with fedex, so this process went fairly smooth. fedex has awesome customer service.
