I'm running 3.5 and trying to get a product of Product Type Bundle (i.e. where I can add multiple products/subcomponents to one product) to show the components of the product plus a simple text field at checkout. The problem is that even though I add the Text Field Option/Componenet to the Product Type, the field never shows up at checkout. It will show up in the product list if I configure it for that option but ultimately I want it to appear at checkout...not in the product list.
Here is the process I take to add the text field. I create a new Product Type and check the 'Bundle' option. Then I go into 'Default Options' for that Product Type, add my 2 subcomponents (i.e. a PC and Monitor), and then select 'Option' to create a text field for this Product Type and I make sure that the 'On Checkout Process' is the only 'Show Property' checkbox that is checked. Once this is done, I create a product based on this new Product Type. The goal here is that once the user goes to checkout this product, that the product will show up along with the text field so that the user can enter some data related to this product.
When I add that new product to my cart, click checkout, the bundle appears but no text box appears.
Has anyone else had this problem or can anyone else recreate this issue? BTW...I've tried to get ViArt support to help me with this but their only response is that they need access to my Admin panel, which is impossible due to firewall restrictions.

P.S. I've also tried to add the Text Box Option to the individual product that is of the Bundle Product Type listed above as opposed to the Product Type itself, and the text box still doesn't show up. It's almost like if you have a product that uses a bundle product type, you cannot use any of the Options (textbox, textarea, pulldown list..etc.) at checkout.
