Did they give a release date ? Its almost Mid of 2011.

Sorry to disappoint OPC wouldn't be available in v.4.0.7 which is going to be released very soon. We are working very hard to release it as soon as possible but we had to stop and develop a few more preparation steps to make OPC fully functional with latest version, for example we rewrote options logic and moved call center module to the front-end. However it won't be long until One Page Checkout is ready, we expect to finish it in the next few months.

Thank you for the update, and it's nice to have the information. It would be nice to ONLY provide the OPC to the contributers, at least for a couple of versions to benefit those who actually paid, as this was an expensive project.

I have already expressed this and was told we would get it pre-release.
 
However, it has been very many months since we all made the investment and I agree that it would be right and fair to give contributors a good use of the feature before making it public.

That I understand Five5, we are now in the second year of waiting for it.

Umm... this is not going to be released to us only, it's global. So why would someone give you $70.00 for it?

Corrected, ViArt is releasing this to only contributers first

We told from the beginning we were going to start developing One Page Checkout only after version 4.0 release. Then we needed to create an appropriate platform for One Page Checkout and cover all basis - we have finally arrived to this stage.
 
As promised, those who invested in this feature will receive it first, prior to v.4.0.8 release.
 
Everyone who wants out, may contact our support team and we will refund their $60-70.

We I really don't think people should be refunded. Maybe for those contributers, a 6 month further update extention due to the timing of the release.
 
I'm really happy that you guys have worked toward building a new platform, and if it means waiting due to this change, then so be it. Those who paid, are those that really wanted the update/capability.
 
If it's us that needs to drive the product forward, then so be it. It's improving again and I'm happy about that. Seems like there were some still waters for quite some times, but now it seems to be flowing again. Thanks for the work ViArt Team

So that they can get the functionality first. I don't need OPC anymore, so am giving someone else a chance of getting it at the earliest possible time.
 
Otherwise I will ask ViArt for a refund, now that they have offered that option.

It's not about the money at this point, it's about them completing it. They are already working on this.

Interesting, I've been out of the forum for a while with lots of other things going on.
 
I came back in today with just this on my mind. It is now ages since we paid for this and, though very rare for me to challenge Viart, I am really not in a good mood with this delay.
 
I had to twist the arm of my partner to shell out for this on the basis of the significant benefit to us.
 
With sales volumes feeling the strain of the economy these days he is not happy that I haven't delivered on this.
 
I have chased Viart and always told - after the next version or upgrade. I now feel I am a nuisance asking!

Any update, its 2012 ?
