I would like to have a function, which is really common in Sweden, that the customers only fill in their personal id (social security number) and then the system fetches the address from the national registration. That way most of the customers only have to fill in one field and then the order can be transfered.
Maybe this is just possible to do via the swedish payment system Klarna, but I have a hope of having this function made anyway..

Can't make such a system work in the UK - perhaps it is only possible in Sweden in which case yuo may need to pay Viart to customize this for you.
It sounds a great idea - best w-shes with it..

I would NEVER provide my social security number to ANYONE in this way. Seems WAY too RISKY!

You know how you in the US and we in the UK often have different viewpoints - so, the Swedes are also quite different in their approach, much more liberal even than us.
I guess that the danger is not in providing the social security number but in giving the data that allows access to further info?
I could give you mine but without my full name and other data it is quite useless - no better than selecting a number at random.
