In my opinion, ViArt, is very powerful, many features, but is slightly "old-for terms of graphics"
 
It lacks some features rich, Ajax and CSS 3

Please note that ViArt already widely use Ajax for different forms and continue adding it everywhere we fill it could be useful for our customers.
 
One of most popular option used for adding products to the cart which you can activate at
Settings > Products > Products Settings > General
After Adding Product: [x] Use Ajax to add products
 
Another popular option for opening categories tree with Ajax without refreshing page.
 
As for CSS3 we think it depend on design customer will like to have on his site and if we will creating such design which will require CSS3 then for sure we will use it as well.

in fact VITO, the VIART is a powerful tool designed to be (ready to use in a simple way) or (for programmers and designers) who know the language well (css3 - html - PHP etc. ..) can make it a top site ..
 
Many other e-commerce, such as: cs-cart (very slow in all) - (prestashop> to import the products that you have to make the trip around the world) ...
 
All of these products (which I have used and still use), are very aesthetically beautiful (outside front-end / Back-end and internally) but are slow to use ...
 
Do you think that with ViArt amount 30,000 products in 5 minutes
With Cs-Cart c use 30 minutes ...
