I am considering using your software. I see there is newsletter function. I currently have about 2000 client customers that I would like to import into the viart software. My hosting company will only allow 500 emails an hour out through their server. Does your email portion of the newletter program stagger emailings? My hosting company suggest staggering 200 emails an hour so that I have plenty of bandwidth for other server functions. Please advise.

Hello Jim,
You can suspend the process of sending newsletter after certain amount of emails sent and then continue process from this point.
Thanks,

Yoda,
Thanks for a reply. Question...the process you describe is manual, is that right? In other words, I can't tell the program to send 200 emails an hour until all 2000 have been sent.
Or is it like this, I create my 2000 client email list and tell the program to send 200 and then stop. After an hour, I come back and tell it to send the next 200 and so on. Once the first batch has been sent, will the program know where to pick up from where it left off?
Thanks a million.
Also, does anyone there know the answer to my other posted question about having two different left nav menus within the same website?
Thanks again.

Hello Yoda,
I have been playing around with the newletter option. I wish your online doc was more detailed. I am certain that many of my questions could be answered if the document was more detailed about the operational aspects of the viart software. Do you agree? For instance, I am wondering if there is a way to automatically insert a customers name at the top of an email message that is sent via the newsletter. The online documentation doesn't offer any details about this. Can you enlighten me please?
Thanks

I totally agree! The documentation seems to always lag behind and be incomplete. I know it takes time and effort to create complete documentation, but it would ultimately free your time from answering the same questions over and over.

It's possible using {name} and {email} tags inside newsletter body.

Yes you are abolutely right when you are saying that our documentation currently is incomplete and we are working hard to make it complete in 1-2 months.

Is any way to enable the Tiny Editor in the newsletter?
