First of all, thanks to BG, the whole idea of launching a Viart Template site is being derived from this(http://www.viart.com/viart_templates_site.html) forum post started by him. I have launched a new Viart Template Site http://www.viartguru.com/ with a set of four templates at the present and I plan to add further 7-8 templates within a fortnight. At present all templates are based on version 3.5. I welcome your suggestions on improving the site. Please post your comments on http://www.viartguru.com/forum.php?forum_id=1. A Valentine's Day theme has been added today. Please comment on the layouts.

Added two more templates - one suitable for every type of shops, another mainly designed for pet shops, though if the header image is modified it may suit every shop. Please note to keep me suggesting on the existing and future templates. :)

Very nice templates!!! I like how the upper menu stands out more, having less space between the blocks, and the ability to put a larger graphic at the top without having to redesign the template. Great colors too.
 
What would happen if I used a 3.5 template with V 3.6, would it still work? Does V 3.6 have more layout flexibility?

Thanks for your comments. Regarding using a 3.5 template with Version 3.6, some parts of 3.6 will not work accordingly/properly, so for 3.6, some extra style codes have been added.
 
Yes, V 3.6 have more layout flexibility in some areas which are not present before. So thats a good thing, However, I would like to have some more options added in the next version as because still some designs are not achievable in Viart.
 
I would be adding a few more v 3.6 templates shortly.

Sudip... this is great that you're able to take this and run with it. It's a greatly needed addon for those that truly have no idea how .css works.

After going through HolleyLand, I decided to go for this. So, HolleyLand was very much encouraging. Thanks brother. I hope both of us can help this community grow in a better manner.

I have already written to ViArt and is awaiting their reply. Meanwhile 4 more templates have been added. Excellent work ViartGuru - your new designs look good, but I think you've forgotten to put a "full" preview as you have done with the version 3.5 templates .. otherwise looks very good.

No, I did not forget that. In fact, my installation is version 3.5 and version 3.6 templates will not work properly on this installation. you might have noticed that in templates compatible to both the versions, the preview is available. In two of the templates, which are only 3.6 compatible, previews are not there. I will make the 3.5 versions of this templates alongwith its preview available soon.

What I would LOVE to see is a template that uses CSS/XHTML and gets Viart out of the tables based layout. If you had that, I would RUN to your cart.

Well, I can give a try to a tableless Viart template, but since all the template files are needed to be changed, it is going to cost much more. Anyway, thanks for your complements and keep visiting. I will keep the forum updated whenever I add new templates.
