I was informed that Viart 3.5 will be released in in the mid of May.
When can we expect the new version of Viart (3.5) ?

I presume that it is being thoroughly tested to be free of bugs?

hummmm . . . this is a joke, right?
I just discovered that when we wanted some custom work done, that to my mind should have been an issue of altering templates (we wanted to use large images for product lists, not the default small images), viart went and altered a core application file to make the change we wanted.
SO . . . now when we update the application we are pretty much locked into having them do the updates ($$$) because this core file has been changed and can not be altered without breaking viart.
nice, huh? reminds me of the oscommerce days!

Ibn not major, but at least the software keeps evolving and improving. There are many small developments that are needed - none would excite us but together they make shop life and admin better.

I'm a bit behind, about to upgrade from 3.3 to 3.4 - I like to let the dust settle with microsoft and all other software upgrades. But, I am really pleased at the new features in 3.4 and 3.5 sounds good too.

Interesting
It is in downloads - where normally only new users would go to try Viart: ViArt Shop 3.5 - Free Evaluation Download
Would be nice for established users to get notification first -and the change log etc?

I got the email notification of 3.5 being available, but why no upgrade instructions? I have not customized the site other than creating a new style sheet, so is it just a matter of unzipping and copying the new files up to my server? Any database structure changes that need to be done?

I see that dmaui has a similar issue to me regards upgrading - any chance of a clear instruction on how to upgrade - in my humble opinion the manual is not clear!
