<<waiting to get features on others expense>>
Ibn Saeed you're such a cynic
Of course some people will hold back and wait; nevertheless I believe in integrity and if I want it I will not leech on others to fund it for me. And, of course, if they do not come in there may not be enough and the feature does not happen anyway.
Welcome GingerSue.
We are now 4
IbnSaeed = $60.00
Chris = $60.00
viart.customer = $60.00
GingerSue = $60.00
- come on six more must want such a great feature!!? And at such a small price??
Yes I agree that we can all pay Viart directly as we did with my feature, as soon as we have the ten pledges.

I really want this, but have $320 in feature requests to viart over the past 3 months and have seen zero progress???

alkatraz - that puzzles me. I have had a number of features all delivered OK. The latest has an agreed delivery timescale and I believe that Ibn Saeed is in the same position also.
If you have paid for a feature you need to demand and agree a delivery time and expect it - my experience is that Viart people generally keep to agreements
If you want to join this I am quite sure that Ibn Saeed will ensure that it is delivered as agreed.

Hi Ibn,
Although I am still evaluating ViArt to suitability to our needs I expect I would utilise OPC.
It's a good idea you have there to get the customisation done. If we go with ViArt I will try and contribute with you guys.
What spec did you give ViArt for them to come up with the quote?

Hello Five5
Welcome :)
I requested that the One Page checkout should be provided as an option which should be enabled/disabled in the admin section.
It should work with different payment solutions especially 2Checkout as 2CO requires the merchant to transfer the customer to their payment page. And similarly, many other payment system do this.
For those payment systems, which provide full fledged Merchant accounts, the OPC can be integrated easily. The Main area is for it to work with the 3rd party Payment Systems.

Thank Ibn.
Although my current shops do not have a OPC I can see the value in it..... I think. Not having used ViArt in anger yet I am not sure (previous s/w did not provide me stats) how many people abandon checkout or whether OPC improves lost conversions.
Does anyone have any insights to experiences they care to share.

I think this was also asked by another poster, but Ibn, do you have a sample page to look at?

I am considering it, but I just paid them for Canadian Taxes, and my shop is not in live yet, so I am not sure.
The reason I am even thinking about it is because I know that Ibn Saeed and Chris O. are trust worthy people.
I will let you know if i do want this feature right now.
That is the idea. The OPC should work with 3rd party payment systems as well as merchant accounts.

Ibn, couldn't get anything on that link. Can you link to a screen capture? Thanks. I am very much interested, but want to see what the end product would look like. I'm sure you understand. I need to be able to sell it to my Viart client.

Error for me as well.
Will this work with all payment systems? I am working on setting up my local one eWay which ViArt is not already pre-configured.

The idea is that OPC should work with all the payment system or atleast the famous ones.
