My company just decided on ViArt for our e-commerce needs, but we have to code a few minor customizations in to make it work with the way we do business.
 
The features we are looking for are:
 
1. Not needing a Max Qty in the price matrix. We sell quite a bit of products at volume pricing, and there is no ceiling on our highest tier discounts. Being able to display something like 10+ would be excellent.
 
2. Ability to collect credit card information on free products. We offer several recurring payment-type products, but we don't bill these products until a certain day each month. Therefore, we need to be able to offer a "free" product on the site, but we also need to collect credit card info.
 
The code layout makes sense, but it's quite expansive and being able to find some direction through it would be very helpful. Is there any documentation on the code? Also, I know that a few of the core files are encrypted, but is there any documentation on what is contained in those files, just so I know if I'm looking for something that can't be changed?

I have asked for some kind of global map, and I'm not sure it exists, but if it does, I'd even be willing to pay for it.

- why not ask Viart - they can be very helpful?
 
Sadly, lack of documentation is the biggest gripe!
