I am trialing ViArt and it's looking real good, the only thing that I am having no luck with is getting a subscription to recurr.
I have read the scant paragraphs from the manual which give some information on how to set it up, but I am left with a few questions that perhaps can be answered here.
What is the difference between "Automatically create order for next payment" and "Automatically create and bill recurring orders", the second suggests it will actually bill the order, but later there is the mention of manual or cron settings to do the billing, confusing.
Recurring Period (This is the length of the billing cycle.)
for this field you enter a number and then select a duration (day, week, month, year).
I have entered "1" "day" for the cycle and "10" for the payment total field. Does this mean that every day for ten days the customer will be billed the price of the product?
Can I leave the start and end dates blank (they don't seem to make any sense for daily billing)?
On the Orders > Sales / Orders page there is a link under the list of current orders "Proceed current recurring orders" If I don't set up a cron process do I click this once a day to process the subscriptions?
Finally has anyone got this to work with paypal standard subscriptions?
Willing at this stage to pay for some support.
