We currently use mysql 4.1.22 and php 4.4.8
 
We want to upgrade to at least mysql 5.0.51 and php 5.2.5
 
Will there be any conflicts with viart?

Afaik Viart supports MySQL 4.x and 5.x.

you must complete some sort of migration however. The tables within 4.x do NOT run smoothly in 5.x. I tried and received an error message and ViArt had to correct.
