I have been asked to make a webpage for a garden union, and I haven´t done anything like that before.

We have an idea that the members should be able to contribute with their photos of their gardens.
So I am wondering how to best solve the problem with security if every member should only be able to administrate their own images and only the members should be able to reach the image section. Any advice or ideas?
First, I planned on using the Ads section and adjust it for this cause. But it turns out that the union wants to be able to use the Classified Ads as well.
Too bad that the forum section cannot be restricted so only logged in members could reach it, because then it could be an option..

Please, help me with this issue..?

You can indeed only have members access the forums..

If you go to:
"Administration > Forum > Forum Threads"
and click on the edit link for "Forum" there is an "Access Levels" tab which allows you to specify the access for each user.

You can set a new user up - the "Gardeners"? - who can access the Forum in
"Administration > Site Users > Users Types"

As you can create more forum sub threads its possible to have a general forum and only Gardeners log into the section where they can upload photos because you have allowed them to add attachments.

Thank you very much for your help.

But now they decided that they wanted the whole forum as well, and then I cannot adapt the construction of the forum to fit with the "image gallery page" for the logged in users.

I was thinking about using the Image Gallery for the logged in users, and I have seen on the tab "Access Levels" in administration for the Articles that I can set that the logged in users can post articles.

But how do they do that? Where can I find the function where the logged in users can post articles?
